Who didn't paint her roses red?

Thanks to a contest, together with a few friends we won some gift vouchers to different restaurants. Honestly, I didn't think we'd win but yay =D I chose the Garden gift voucher and decided to bring Uzma and Mun Kit to a treat right at One Utama's branch. Here's what I picked for my lunch:

The Garden Sandwich.

I'm not really a garden salad type of person, but this was quite good. There's chicken ham, bite-sized chicken meat, red cabbage, tomatoes and greens sandwiched between 3 slices of toasted, buttered bread served with nice portion of chips. My favourite was surprisingly the golden chips, its fried to perfection and evenly salted, because normally I'd go for shoestring french fries which tastes better and less dry than chips. But these were tasty!

Uzma, on the other hand, had Ice Peach Tea to drink and Fish Curry Rice with Drumstick. Looks quite delectable, doesn't it? =)

Her review: "Good Good Goooooooooood."

Kit had Grilled Barramundi. The portion could've been bigger though, or at least it could've been presented on a smaller plate - psychology :P Nevertheless, it was "plate-licking" good taste-wise.

I would visit this place again. The prices are reasonably cheap for such a cafe too and it has a very relaxing atmosphere almost like being transported to a garden tea party in England or some sort :)

Hung out with the college buddies today, watched Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 and man, for us it was a huge disappointment. *spoiler alert*

The *clears throat* two "major" scenes in the story were cut out; the honeymoon part is understandable, but to cut out the scene when the baby is born.... is too much. Wasted RM7, even watching the movie trailer is more interesting now. Good thing I spoiled the movie by reading Wikipedia if not I won't even know what in the world happened, and yes, this reminded me why I don't follow the Twilight Saga movies :\

Now that we're assignment free, time to go prepare for a photo shoot and a photo competition which is both on the same day :P

Most Beautiful Time of the Year

Its finally here;

Semester is almost over and it just hit me that 11 months just flew by! Hearing words like "4 weeks to complete this project" during almost every semester makes time so short. I managed to accomplish so many things that I'd never thought I'd be able to do in this year;

make a whole lot of international friends
work for events while visiting different local colleges
first time attending C2AGE and Animangaki
actually paint.
do a Deepavali kolam for One Utama
successfully planned/cosed 4 cosplays for this year, impossible became possible.

and i met my self proclaimed gender bender :D

On a side note, the biggest ACG event is on the way, 8 more days to Comic Fiesta 2011! and its the 10th event! Very, very excited but I'm even more excited for Christmas. The main reason why everybody loves December, and its not JUST about the holidays.

Visited Aquaria in Kuala Lumpur City Center (Suria). Not bad, but price is quite.... anyway, let's just take a look at some photos shall we? :)

It was both me and Jane's first time attending Animangaki by Sunway University Anime Club (SUAC). Called her to be my Kagamine Rin and Miki to be my Akita Neru xD So can you guess who am I? :)

Slept over at Mel's and made a new friend that night haha - Crystal :) She cosplayed Megurine Luka - Secret Police version~ On Animangaki Day 1, we woke up pretty early around 6 something and started face makeup. Thank God, I successfully handled the eye liner quite okay - I never put make up for myself before, and hardly wore it anyway :) Mel cosplayed Yuki Onna with partner, Keith as Rikuo Nura. She had a small problem putting on girl cosplay make up because her cosplayed are mainly 90% shonen characters, but still make a pretty Yuki Onna :D

Couldn't have ask for a better day at Animangaki even though the three of us only attended Day 1. Finished painting this today, took me around 2 days to finish including glossing it - proud of it, yay! It looks sho shiny~~ Thanks Kimberly for getting the buzz lightyear picture from her phone wifi for reference. Speaking of which, its Kim's last day working here. So, I wanna thank her a lot for teaching me how to make drinks and making me hot chocolate :D

3rd Day of Work

Product of the Day

Boss' father assigned this big and heavy piece of plaster to me to be painted for shop's display. Started yesterday and finished 80% today :) Though, felt like it could have turned out neater. I got it glossed and now waiting for Kevin to help hang it on the wall.

Rewind back to the morning at work today, Kimberly and I had English Breakfast Tea for... breakfast, duh. As usual, I had milk to go with my cup. Then she cleaned the paint on the floor while I scrubbed the kids' tables. Later that day, Kevin and Kimberly demonstrated the process of making coffee and cappuccino at the shop. Quite tedious and need of extreme care when preparing coffee, not just for good taste and aroma but to satisfy coffee-loving customers and make sure the drink has no reasons for it to get sent back o__o scary.

So, while I finished my assigned plaster painting; Kimberly continued her Mulberry Paint thingy :P Its claimed to be material from the bark of the Mulberry tree mixed with food coloring, just use it as how you would handle papier-mâché. I salute her for having so much of patience to finish this so carefully, and this is her 3rd day to finish the aeroplane M.A.S.

No seriously;, we're not insulting. Just in the process of finishing the word "Malaysia" xD

Yay! Managed to snag a slot for Comic Fiesta'11: 100 Days Countdown artwork, only because the third slot was opened heh. Mine will be out on Oct11, though, I think I'll be one of the only ones gonna be using traditional media 8D? Need to start soon~ ~~Hopefully it can get published in CF'11 Official Art Book too~~ ~~nyahahahhahaha~~ Can you believe all the 200 slots were fully booked in less than a day?
Made plans for Animangaki 2011, its confirmed this time!
CF'11 costume already arrived, good thing sister help to take it from the postman :D Thanks Melissa and Mimi Misaki~ Yay it's satin.. and its PURRRRRPLE :3 Also, a mini shoot planned with bluepapers and other cosplayers from the CF forums on that day, hope it all turns out well!

College Orientation Day

Part 1
Got up early at 7.15am and had breakfast at Old Town White Coffee. I registered at the reception and headed to the lecture theater on the 7th floor for orientation : briefing and speeches. Before entering there were a fair amount of people there, but a lot. Most of the students were in groups talking and few were scattered - quiet people.. and I was one of them. While waiting for the orientation to start, I began to worry if I attended the right hall because I figured orientation was only for foundation students. Later the senior on the microphone explained the orientation was also for diploma/degree first years and second years, phew.

There were speeches by the principal and other lecturers with position in the college. Oh, then there was the student council president ; Dwayne. Cool right his name? lol XD

Anyway after that we were split up into our respective courses and given schedules and a little bit more handbooks. Then we were told to stay and meet back at class from 12.50pm to 4.30pm but couldn't, so.. that's end of day1 for me.

Part 2

Reached college at 7.30am but had to wait til 8 plus. People who supposed to open the doors were LATE. So while waiting I talked to a lecturer who arrived early too; she teaches English. Then around 9am, a girl who wants to be aka Woofy, "found" me and we went to class together. She's a ~~punk~~ rocker girl, lil mix of Thai blood, with hairstyle a little like Yuna from FFX2 - plays guitar and is going into architecture after foundation.

Oh, and I finally found out the difference with Rock-style and Punk-style :)

Then when class started I was teamed with a group of people. We eventually became friends also because to help complete an Orientation Art Project collaborating with our fellow Design seniors - tie and dye a banner with art quotes.

Had early lunch together in the cafeteria and had our photos taken in the Photography Studio for our Student IDs. They're all staying in hostels, not sure if they're staying near each other though. Which leaves me the only one from the bunch, a Selangor kid. Oh, I'm shorter than them except Uzma :|

Also made a senior friend, named Mandy. She was our group leader in the tie and dye project. Friendly and funny =) Our team's art quote was:

One last thing, I'm really impressed the fact that the roti canai stall in the cafeteria has Roti with cheese on the menu. Like... Sausage/Cheese, or Ham/Cheese.. etc Now I don't have to buy McDonald's Cheeseburger all the time whenever I have a random cheese craving ;)

College is fun :) But it officially starts next week!

"Let me shine for Your glory.." - Michael Bleeker.

It has been quite a happening December this year. First of, finished the remaining important SPM papers and headed off to Youth Camp in Malacca. Yes, you might have noticed many new faces and some familiar ones, like Jason Low, Esther and Jane-Menn.

I was very surprised to see other christian youth groups having camps at the same place as us (Alexandra's and Aaron's youth groups). They reserved the chalets and for us, the dorm. For 4days 3nights, we had a lot of fun getting to know each other and playing the annual Guardian Angel game :) Theme night was fun and the best dressed was awarded to Ming Wei&Xi Wei (B1&B2) for female and Krishan (Chouji) for male. Hence said, try guessing our theme hahaha! Oh, Camp Commandant - Susanna and Assistant Camp Commandant - Jo Leen. We were thrilled to have Peter and Loren Keefauver to speak at camp!

This year's camp was the MOST refreshing camp I had ever attended and been a part of. Its like "My-First- Camp-and-It-Was-Awesome" kind of camp :) Despite having a big number of new people, that was what broke boundaries and brought us closer together. Don't judge us by how small the number of campers there were, but how much we bonded despite all circumstances.

After that was Comic Fiesta :) 18th and 19th December, this year held at Times Square Manhattan Ballroom. It was totally hectic. For both days, I got up as early as 7 to get ready in costume then headed to Melissa's house for transport. But since she had gotten a whole bunch of friends to join her in a Kuroshitsuji cosplay group, everything was delayed due to make up and costume.. mostly make up.

First day, Ryan wore a skirt! Part of his Dagger (Kuroshitsuji) costume la. Celine as Hatsune Miku (Vocaloid) Sandplay version if I'm not mistaken, then the 2nd day as Sebastian Michaelis (Kuroshitsuji). Jane as Doll (Kuroshitsuji) both days. John and Jia Jie as two of the three triplets (Kuroshitsuji), forgot their names... As for me I went as Shiroma (FF Fables : Chocobo's Dungeon). Don't get me started on Melissa's costumes - too many for me to remember. Indira also cosplayed a Kuroshitsuji character.. an Indian char not sure the name too though ><

Oh, did I tell you she actually managed to get our Physics tuition teacher, Kai Yuan to cosplay. As her (Alois Trancy) butler, Claude Faustus. *gives standing ovation to Melissa*

The YFers also had a BBQ Poolside Party at Riana Green. I went straight there after first day Comic Fiesta in my costume. Tried to wash off the eyeliner makeup.. I guess it didn't look too bad :\ Yeah we pushed almost everyone into the pool, including those who didn't bring extra clothes *hint hint* :) We did gift exchange and Esther received my present; a bigger version of the Chill Pill (inside joke) and I got Ming Wei's gift - a Panda toothbrush holder. HEI BAI!

Then it was Christmas! But I fell sick the day after Comic Fiesta ended, for two weeks. Recovery progress is improving and hopefully a 100% before college starts :)

I just realized its the first day of the last month of the year - 1st December, when the Pengawas Peperiksaan wrote it on the board before the exam started. Time ~~flew~~ zoomed past us!

Yes, Sijil Peperiksaan Malaysia has already begun and I have just completed 8/11 subjects.

Total papers that I'm sitting for? 21. Seriously, I can't imagine those students who scored more than 20 A's in the past years compared to well, people like me - I'm trying so hard to get as many as I can :\

Today Jun Kit, Zhi Yi and I decided to walk to Taipan from school. We left right after our Add Math 1 finished. Then we came to a familiar road - Charnice's house :) I was thinking of ringing her doorbell to say Hi or something - then suddenly she came around the corner, driving. Managed to get her attention LOL and she offered the 3 of us a ride to Taipan. It made our journey easier, thanks so much <3

3 of us ate at Kedai Kopi Nanking and then over to some pastry desserts at Patisfrance, or more like gelato desserts. I really don't understand what's with people staring at us while driving past, its not like we're celebrities or something - though that would be so cool :D Oh, one totally random guy randomly asked us if we already finished our paper.. anyway..

I would really really love to post a photo or two up like I usually would, but maybe the next post. Apologies! >< Then we walked all the way back to school and still had about an hour plus before the exam started.

Nothing as interesting happened after that though, til then.

New Accessory!

Forever? ... Viva Forever!

Hey look its changing color :)

A pair of these mood rings which actually work costs me about RM33. Well, not me - thanks dad :) There's even a mood necklace which my sister found hanging nearby, she touched it and it turned color instantly, but not sure how much was it though.. A single mood ring sold is around Rm19, which I wanted to get but there was only medium sized rings left. So I got the pair of mood rings mostly because they had the smaller size! Man, my fingers are small, so much trouble to wear rings :( Oh, you can find them at DIVA outlets.

In my honest opinion, SINMA does not sell good mood rings unless you just want to wear it around for fun while calling it a mood ring. Miraculously I found my old Sinma mood ring which I bought around RM5, max. The ring is super thin compared to Diva's. Well, Sinma's did not work at all for me which was quite a letdown even though it was just for around RM5. I think its been at least two years since I've been hunting for a real mood ring and finally finding it.

So far most of the color reactions I frequently make the ring change is Yellow - Scared, Green - Surprised, and Purple - Flirty. Flirty? That's just messed up. I once made the ring turn all red because of a game that Mei Juin organised for Youth last Saturday, its called Big Fish Small Fish. Red means stressed, yes I was definitely stressing trying not to tongue twist while playing the stressing game :P

Girls' Night Out

That's one of the best smoothies ever drank. Real strawberries! and not one of those "instant" smoothies.

Left Subang approximately 8.15pm for Bangsar, Betsy drove. When we reached, it was quite surprising because there was not much of a trouble locating a parking spot irony on the 31st of Oct. Anyway, we had a good dinner eating a few dishes like lasagna, fettuccine, pasta salad, spaghetti, and two cheese cakes :)

Oh listen to this; Erin thought the unique-looking tissue dispenser was a hand dryer - so she spent quite a while putting her hands under the "dryer", waiting for hot air to come out :O Well, it DID look like a hand dryer, until she saw a sign saying to pull down for tissue. The hand dryer was just a few steps away from the tissue dispenser, actually. LOL

We also Syok-sendiri taking a lot of photos in front of the mirror, like how most girls would. Best thing is that not much people around - so there's no awkward feeling taking photos of each other, in front of anyone but us :) and left around 10.35pm. It was definitely a fun girl's night out. Form 5 Graduation

This is how we should be practicing One Malaysia Unity :D

Woke up around 7.15am that Saturday morning and quickly got ready for graduation. Melissa texted me to give her a call when I reached the college and vice versa. Upon reaching the college lobby/drop off, I thought there was some college event going on. Turns out that it was our school other form 5 students all clad in formal wear - most of the girls in white long sleeves and black skirts that you wear to work, the guys in slex, ties and smart wear.

Anyway, so when mum dropped me off I pulled my phone out to dial Melissa when she called at the same time. Its so funny - we were trying to locate each other when we were right beside one another :O Then we caught up with the rest of the gang and headed to the hall. Its the same hall used as a venue for Subang Rally 2009's P.U.S.H. oh the memories :) We grabbed the opportunity to take photos with our schoolmates and classmates since we're all now NOT in our school uniforms, and for some of us one of the last times to be with friends before SPM starts. Don't get me started on how close SPM is :(

The usual: Persevered through the speeches which were surprisingly shorter than expected. Then it was the moment some of us have been waiting for to be over with - taking our graduation certificate, or at least the holder, considering its only a pre-graduation. Most of us were fussing to help each other remember when to bow and thank the guest of honor for handing the "certificate". We were taught to bow at least 3 to 4 times before leaving the stage! and the teachers exaggerated a little that the stage was VERY prone to causing people to slip.

Thankfully everything went well, and Melissa invited me to join her gang of friends to hang out at Pyramid after the event. Ate PepperLunch for the first time - Salmon Carbonara, not bad I must say :) Walked around aimlessly, literally. We practically walked over to the photobooth section and realised we had to point of doing anything there. Other than that, I guess the day went quite fine. I'm really gonna miss these days in high school when I start college :')

Sketching Style Metamorphosis

Comic Fiesta Mascot (1) Coffy!

Yeap yeap! I changed my drawing style. Now I feel more satisfied looking at it :D Melissa says its more "Anime-ish" now than the last style I had, but she also said this style is lacking "cuteness". I didn't think the last art style was cute :\ Its like it made it just past the border line of Anime art. And today my sketching mood got triggered and I just kept drawing. Well, now I'm practicing to get used to this style.

Yesterday I had the bad case of the flu and headache, thankfully no fever. It all started when I had to get up and get ready for school. A slight sinus started everything. I borrowed a whole packet of tissue from Zhi Yi and ended up finishing it. Then she asked Justin for some tissue for me. I couldn't think properly because of the headache and uncomfortable feeling of not being able to breathe normally. Then Jun Kit and Zhi Yi kept telling me to call parents to take me home, looking at my condition. Farah helped me ask teacher to permit me to leave class and call. Zhi Yi followed me to call and I have absolutely no idea how Ryan ended up escorting me to the office. One thing was on my mind at that time - SLEEP.

We waited in the office and read some old edition of the school magazines. Pn Teo was there and suprisingly, no one bothered asking why Ryan was there. He didn't bring a pass too, lol. "When you're in a situation to get caught, you don't." Thanks father, I'm a happy daughter :)

Today, I was quite contented being well again and back in a drawing spree. Practice, practice, practice! Melissa commented that its shojo style :O

..Is Like A Year Without Rain.

You can find me singing Japanese Anime songs lately, practicing hard for a performance. Not a big deal - performing in front of an audience of 90% of people who you don't know, right? :) I just need to remember since its a singing practice, I shouldn't stress singing too much. The last time I practiced singing and memorizing lyrics of a Japanese song, I ended up getting a sore throat from over-singing. Speaking of which,Kim Foong, Ryan and Soo Aun asked me to sing in class and it was just between the 4 of us, Indira, Melissa, Ket Jin and Zhi Yi. Sing any song, but I didn't. I guess it was scary thinking what would they say about my singing, I don't even sing that well.

We form 5's also had a taklimat regarding SPM exams and our Form 5 Graduation Ceremony kindly hosted by the school. We got the official printed timetable and had to read through the crucial instructions if you want to avoid being in any trouble during the SPM days. Oh, about the Graduation Ceremony, we get to rent the Graduation Robes. The guys were instructed to wear strictly formal, no jeans, t-shirt, or any other style of clothing. Us girls, we were "encouraged" to wear long sleeves and/or long skirts. Long bottom-wear = Knee or lower length. Worse come to worse, the teachers gave us an alternate solution to wear the National Baju Kurung outfits. Hmm, I think I got something planned out :)

Felt sleepy again today in school, the lights were on last night which added to my sleepiness and when it was about 6.05am it started to rain. Finally! After a dreaded hot week of no rain. The weather was just unbearable, but we're Malaysians, so it should be quite normal for this to happen. I was actually hoping it would rain to a point of thunderstorm weather - despite absolutely disliking the loud thunder noise and lightning flashes. The sight and sound of rain falling just gives a sense of calamity and melancholy.

Okay, taking a break now. Need to continue studying for the exams of our lives which are a month away! :O

Today marks the first day of a normal school routine for us Form 5's, second batch of school trial exams and JPS papers are all done. Next stop, SPM. 40 more days from tomorrow. So let's see what happened today.. First of all, I haven't been getting enough sleep lately. It takes approximately 2-4 hours for me to fall asleep, but taking naps are like almost instantly. Had a nice nap laying my head on the school desk for about 15-20 minutes until Melissa woke me up all of a sudden to teman her visit the toilet D:

Another great surprise was from Jia Yee, a Starbucks Frapuccino drink in a glass bottle. Love ya much girl :) Since it was fragile, you didn't know how scary it was to put it at the safest place I know - on my school desk. Made it lie on its side, good thing it has a curved square body design. Carrying it home and all was the worst considering I'm a clutz, but thankfully it went straight to the refrigerator the minute I got home, still in one piece. Go figure!

Today it was fun talking with Kim Foong, Ryan, Jun Kit, Zhi Yi and Melissa about college and career. I know its way, way.. into our future and we haven't even started SPM yet, but its nice to know what everyone is going to be doing after that. Then when Kim, Jun Kit, Zhi Yi and Melissa left to get some details about college overseas, Daniel and Andrew came over to our side of the class. We had nerdy talk about Hayate No Gotoku, then the guys talked about Fate/Stay Night and of course, Pokemon. Later, one of them started talking with a British slang out of nowhere. I think it was Ryan who started it with, "Would you like a cup of tea?". Then, there was this, totally random (inside joke).

Ryan: *randomly strums air guitar*
Me: Can you really sing? o_O
Ryan: *sings*
Daniel: Thanks for the good joke.

Well, that pretty much sums up today. It was one of the best and funniest times I had in a long, long time. Laughing with friends. Laughing til the tears fall. Laughing at the stupidest things we do as friends. Love you all :) and thanks so much.

Canteen Day 2010

Waited at the bicycle shed, where Zhi Yi and Yan Jun found me. Headed to the class booth at the canteen to set up the food and game. Attendance, check =)

Approx. 8.45am
Caught up with Melissa and met her friend, Chloe. Mel was taking care of the barbeque pit. Then we walked off to find Fu Ying and Mun Chun to ask about the song dedications. Then walked around the first floor of the Bitara Block where Mel and I got our hair temporally sprayed. She got blue and I silver.

Next, was Table Talk by 5 Midori. "Rock, Paper, Scissors!" Who ever wins, gets to splash the one who lost. 5 rounds. Mel vs. me, She won *She splashes*-She won *She splashes*-I won*I splash*-I won*I splash*-She won... *I splash* xD Couldn't help myself =D Happy Early Birthday Mel! Her blue hair dye was dripping off her hair =O

5 Delphi had a dunking machine next to table talk. Try throwing a tennis ball hard enough at the target to trigger the dunking chair. Some students from different Forms even "volunteered" to get dunked. Met up with Nicholas Yap, Ken Zhi and Li Yon =)

Headed back to canteen. Headed to the Dataran.. Honestly, I can't remember what happened in between here. Lol. It was hectic and happening.

Went into the glow-in-the-dark maze. The minute we got in, two girls or more screamed like crazy into both of my ears. Almost passed out, literally. Had a severe headache from being screamed at. We took a shortcut to the exit by accident =X Apparently, one of the students was promoting the maze by saying , " If you're the fastest among the other teams to finish the maze, you STAND A CHANCE to win a HANDPHONE. Original China brand phone with a memory card.. But people say its "Impossible to win it". Just a scam.. who knows? =\

I completely fail at breaking glow sticks =.=

Kept walking and walking and walking. Drank, walked and walked and walked. Then headed back to the class booth. Helped Zhi Yi and Aaron skewer some kebab, last minute sale =)

Oh, bumped into Hou Ching! I compared my height to her and Ashwin Nicholas. I'm still the shortest among the three of us, Hou Ching the second, and Nicholas the tallest ;-; Times may have change, but THIS is still the same as it used to be =X

Met Xi Wei and her friends too =) They played some games and won a BIG remote control car.. Pro's wei. This is not even their school, can win such a big prize =O haha!

Monopoly Deal <3

Had a sleepover @ Denise's house with her, Betsy, Jo Leen, Mei Juin, Ming Wei and last but not least, Jane-Menn =) Reached her house around 2330 hours. Unpacked and got comfy. Then marathoned Monopoly Deal til 0425 hours the next day, seriously wasn't tired! Then finally just forcefully self-slept after that. It can be seriously addictive and challenging - stealing properties and fighting to save your own. For some odd reason, I kept getting the 10mil money card at every game lol =D That night we reached, we had sushi and milo special for midnight supper around 0110 hours =O and woke up the next day around 1030 -.-" Denise's curtain makes the room so nice to keep sleeping.. Oh-tee-elle!

Yesterday I kept forgetting it was April Fools Day, but it was a secret =O So, kena pranked by Melissa. ROAR. Very close to convincing, but she couldn't keep her cool while pranking me. Hahaha big giveaway *laughs* But to be honest I was THIS CLOSE to falling for it :\ Good one Mel!

DeviantArt.com also played April Fools joke by changing everyone's avatars to Team Edward, Bella, Seeker(?)/Jacob and Lady Gaga. So random. I thought it was just my avatar when I logged on and thoughts like "O_O someone hacked my account?.. NUU! *refreshes page*". I even logged on and logged out a few times before realising the whole dA community got the same thing. Its a random avatar change. So I tried to change it back by going to the Settings page. Instead of coming across the Avatar Edit column, there was NONE. Except the words, "TEAM EDWARD!!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!!11".

Mel said the Comic Fiesta Forums also did a prank where some of the Moderators or Bots changed some users Account names to make it sound funny. Like her name it changed to Yukiminobaka from YukimiMorisaki.. others also kena like one of the accounts was " XD " got changed to " XDDDD" lol. and the 'best' thing is you have to use that new name to log in. haha. Mel panicked earlier when she realised everyone's names where normal except hers. *pats* haha

Did nothing the whole day today. Modmaths, our own uncompleted homework. Chemistry - free period. English - discuss topics in groups. Just me and Cent in our group - Jey Son and Prem were absent. Talked and talked and talked.. off topic. But I guess it was kinda nice to know some new things from his point of view. Walked away after lesson ended just feeling a little, quite enlightened. Then last but not least, BM. Teacher absent. wooo! 5 Pentium pwnage "wasted" a friday in school! =P

My mood =)

Went somewhere yesterday. Enjoyed a live performance presented by the Embassy of Switzerland and KL Pac. It was so fun, that's almost all I could say. Laughed a whole lot. I think the performers deserve a standing ovation when it ended. Not a single sound effect was used except the sounds of something moving/walking across the stage can be heard, and that's about it. Only played with lightings, simple props and body language o.o No dialogues during the performance too :O This all entertained us for about 95 mins (with a 15 minute break for both audience and performers (?) in between).

No photos for this post sadly because they prohibit cameras and recording items during the performance. I respect that =D

Okay.. 12 more hours until Monday, which means school days are back. Managed to complete some holiday homework given by the school. Mod maths homework is annoying especially transformation questions. I still can't figure out the answer to that rotation question -.- Chemistry and History are annoying too -.-" OH, can't wait for Scholastic to deliver my book! Its about time :D

Just Be Friends - Megurine Luka.

Oh great. 5 days of school holidays are almost over and I still am short of a few moral essays :(No need to panic.. Just find some points for "langkah-langkah" and "cara-cara" thingys from google and put it into an essay.. phew~ Hopefully got time left..

Oh yeah, I got a new manga to read, and buy 'selected' volumes.. just for keepsakes :D Bokura Ga Ita! Apparently it became a mini anime series.. Mini? Because it has 26 episodes if I'm not mistaken. It seems kind of new, because more volumes will be released in a few months =) and the 'last' volume published was volume.. 9 or 10. =D so excited.! The characters are a reflection of some people I know =O and the catchphrases/scenarios.. are just .. freaky to me. Won't tell you why though. laalalaa~ Go find out yourselves >=X I want the live drama too :') Misha! If you want, I try get the drama and anime we watch together =D Bring tissues! lol.

The plot is quite fresh, something a little different compared to 'ordinary' shojo =) Complete with love triangles, tears and romance.. I would rate this around 7.5/10. Its not exactly perfect, but hey, its not at all that bad. If you liked Honey and Clover seasons, this is a must read? :) Note; for Older Teens according to the manga ratings - ages 16 and above. Misha is an exception =X

She came to City Harvest KL! Wow =D Anyway, God bless you too Jimmy.. again xD - heehee~ Alarice sings pretty good; kinda acoustic and simple :) She's Australian-Chinese. I think her genre of songs is between/mix Christian and Pop. So, it means it can mean either both ways. But mostly Christian, so its really nice anyway =) Oh, just stating out the obvious that she's really pretty too! :D

Monthly exams are over finally =) Really hope to pass most of the subjects. Some were hard, and I mean really hard. The easy ones, well.. were a breeze I guess.

One funny thing this week was the day I sat for the EST English for Science and Technology, the question was asking to choose between Solar Energy and Hydro Energy as an alternative source for the town. I chose Solar (and wrote it to Shin-Ra Company.. yes the one which produces Mako :D) Kinda cracked my head alittle while thinking of the elaborations. When I reached home, I found out there was an article printed on that day's newspaper regarding Solar Energy. Two whole pages of it :( Bah! So late now only print! D:

Anyway, just feeling more confident than usual for the results of the subjects.. Can't wait for the school magazine and class photo's to be taken :) Its our senior year guys! :D Must do fun photo-shoots for our last year in high school :)

Happy Chinese New Year and belated Valentines :) to you! Trying to just revive the blog here, so help me! haha. Today's post photo was taken during a holiday in Cameron Highlands :) I'm still surprised and very thrilled that the weather is still cold there. Early morning around 7 to 8 is still so cold! Dad admitted he was feeling pretty chilly.. Mum and sis were quite shocked to hear that from him. Afternoon's temp is cooling, and around evening 4 to 5 it gets windy and cold :) I can't believe I was that close to forgetting to bring my jacket there. ~~oops!~~

But, no. Pahang's not my hometown :\ Try guessing yourselves, for those who don't know haha :D Anyways, how are you readers enjoying your CNY holidays/balik kampungs? Share it :) I'm sure everyone's getting richer now right? =) One of the best times of the year... financially for most of us. hahahahaha >w<

The weather back here is still hot. Very hot. Earlier in KL was around 32 degrees Celsius. Bah, no mood to do anything. My buddies are all away now :'( Some in Ipoh, Penang, and different parts of the country, or even out of the country.. I think :O

Oh great. Imma have to backup the files on this PC within 14 days. Kyaaah! T_T Okay then, finishing CNY post now. :) Have a great week!

KL Day again :)

Holga!

Its again the time of the year when my sis and I go to our cousins' down in KL. But this time, sister couldn't wake up and I went alone. Dad dropped me off there and it was already around 6.30 am plus. Since I was one of the one of the only ones wide-awake, aunty let me use their pc, and I went to do the usual browsing : DeviantArt, Facebook and Twitter :)

So later in the morning, aunty brought Li Jia, Zhi Yang and I go to the same market (that we went the last time, and would probably go always!) Its fun =) I had popiah and some butter-kaya-bread, and my usual drink.. Teh Ice.

Oh, the Holga's aren't mine. Thanks aunty for letting me use 'them' for the day. I thought it was a toy.. well, it is really. For your information, Holga cameras are one of those antique cameras that run on film and has a detachable flash. This camera isn't in my generation, now we use digital cameras, phone cameras? and some even use DSLRs right?

I so very like this very much. Really.

Back to the topic, after breakfast 4 of us headed to The Gardens and Mid Valley. I just found out we are not allowed to take pictures in certain so called exclusive brand(s) in Gardens. Its an ethic.. or something like that according to Zhi Yang. But it was so funny taking the pictures. Everybody using DSLRs to take nice pictures around, and here comes a random girl taking pictures using a toy camera, a Holga. Hol-what? :O

We even get to go in the Premium Toilet for free. No, we didn't bribe the guard or break any rules. We don't break rules, get it straight :) And rested a while at the Gardens Club above. Then we headed back home. Zhi Yang and I played Game of Life twice on the playstation - once the Classic and the other the Enhanced Version. We also played Chocobo racing on the PS2 lols. So long I haven't played, but I won GrandPrix and Relay Race against him :O but I know he's better in the other games though :)

I can't wait for youth camp with the YFers and maybe a few new friends, this year. Its gonna be a blast! I don't know why but going for camps just makes me excited. Maybe its the surroundings, the food? or even the year-end get away from the city bustle and just listen to God. This year, Dr. Petra Rose is our camp speaker from the U.S. :) and this year's camp theme is Be It Unto Me.

I chose cloudchaserss.bs.com was because I was going through the list of Kingdom Hearts OST and I was hoping to look for a title that,.. obviously I can relate to. So I picked Cloud Chasers as I like to day dream quite a lot. Chasing clouds would be one of the things also I would do, if I could. Imagine chasing clouds in a wide grassy area, maybe with a few close friends too. The sun is shining, wind blowing ~ Dramatic scene. Hahaa.
